Job Summary

The Program Manager at Eccles Global plays a pivotal role in the development, management, and enhancement of global engagement initiatives within the David Eccles School of Business. This position requires collaboration with faculty, students, partner institutions, and various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of international programs, fostering a vibrant and inclusive global learning environment. This is not a work-from-home or hybrid position, and requires international travel. This position reports to the Director of Eccles Global.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions


1. Work with Director, University of Utah Learning Abroad, academic departments, and faculty to develop, implement, recruit, evaluate, and assess faculty-led international programs.

2. Develop and implement program assessment and continuous improvement processes.

3. Act as liaison with key stakeholders, including University of Utah Learning Abroad, partner institutions, affiliate organizations, and others.

4. Provide student support in selecting suitable study abroad experiences and navigating application and travel preparation.

5. Provide administrative support for David Eccles School of Business degree programs offered at the Utah Asia Campus.

6. In partnership with key stakeholders, recruit students for Eccles Global programs.

7. Engage in international travel for the purposes of vetting potential locations and supporting Eccles Global programs onsite, including providing emergency and student well-being support.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
