JOB PURPOSE: The Assistant Director, Prospect Research & Management provides dedicated support to frontline fundraisers to advance the College’s philanthropic mission and goals on the Research, Relationship Management, and Analytics team.
The Assistant Director is creative, applying innovative as well as practical research techniques to provide appropriate, insightful analysis of individuals and organizations which can be translated into actionable information by the Advancement team.
The Assistant Director is strategic, providing thoughtful input regarding prospect strategies throughout the prospect pipeline while assisting in the design, implementation, and execution of portfolio management and data integrity procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, a liberal arts field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of prospect research experience. Fundraising experience at a major academic institution is preferred.
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Holiday, weekend and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division.
ANNUAL SALARY:
The annual salary for this role is between $54,94825 and $62,114 with a competitive benefits package. The specific factors that the College will consider when offering a salary to an individual will include, but not be limited to: education, training, relevant prior experience, and performance in prior roles.
