Executive Assistant to the Vice President of University Advancement
Executive Assistant to the Vice President of University Advancement provides administrative leadership support of the mission, values, and priorities of University Advancement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in business administration, management, or a field directly related to the position.
- At least six (6) years of full -time (or part-time equivalent) administrative or applicable professional experience related to office operations, project management, and communication with internal and external constituencies.
- At least three (3) years supervising full-time staff.
- Excellent organizational, communication, written, verbal, interpersonal, and networking skills with large groups as well as with individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, poise, and professionalism in all circumstances.
- Demonstrated ability to work with considerable latitude and independence of action.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deliver top customer service to persons of diverse backgrounds and in varying levels of authority.
- Demonstrated ability to gather data and analyze complex situations accurately and adopt or recommend an effective course of action.
Work Hours:
Core work hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 - 4:30
This position requires occasional evenings, weekends, and travel.
Functional Expectations:
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
- Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
- Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate:
$52,500 - $72,000/annual

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
