Prospect Management Analyst / Senior Prospect Management Analyst
The title and grade of the incumbent will be determined by the finalist's years of experience. Finalists with three years of experience will be Prospect Management Analyst, job grade 9; finalists with five years of experience will be Senior Prospect Management Analyst, job grade 10.
The Prospect Management Analyst serves as a key partner for fundraisers seeking to secure leadership, major, and principal gifts from alumni, parents, and friends of the University. The analyst will primarily assist with pipeline development and maintenance with an emphasis on data integrity. Employee onboarding and ongoing education is a key component of this role including the creation, maintenance, and implementation of training documentation and large and small group sessions for new tools, policies, and procedures. Additionally, this position will support the Research and Prospect Management team with biannual portfolio consultations.
The Senior Prospect Management Analyst translates prospect data and analysis into strategies for fundraising partners seeking to secure leadership, major, and principal gifts from alumni, parents and friends of the University. The senior analyst will conduct biannual, collaborative portfolio consultations with individual fundraisers, their managers, and researchers by utilizing the fundraiser's knowledge and various reporting tools. Additionally, this position will assist with pipeline development and maintenance with an emphasis on data integrity. Employee onboarding and ongoing education is a key component of this role including the creation, maintenance, and implementation of training documentation and large and small group sessions for new tools, policies, and procedures.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field such as advancement research, prospect management, fundraising, sales, and/or market research experience
Required Qualifications

Strong analytical skills; able to manipulate, analyze and synthesize data and present findings that are clear and actionable to a variety of Advancement professionals

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, challenging and often changing deadlines

Expertise in Microsoft office suite

Ability to communicate with various University constituencies
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with frontline fundraisers to evaluate moves management

An understanding of financial industry sectors and philanthropy

Understanding of and competency in the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) Basic and Advanced Skill Sets

Experience with Tableau or Raiser's Edge
